Why Choose Summit Safety and Rescue Group
Summit Safety and Rescue Group was founded in North Vancouver in 2021 to give British Columbia employers and workers practical safety training built on real job site experience. Our instructors are working safety professionals, not classroom theorists. They have supervised confined space entries, managed fall protection programs, and stood as prime contractor representatives on active industrial, infrastructure, institutional, and construction projects across the province.
That field experience shapes everything we teach. Students learn how the WorkSafeBC Occupational Health and Safety Regulation is actually applied on a site, how to write documentation that holds up during an inspection, and how to speak up when a task is unsafe.
Occupational Health and Safety Training Across British Columbia
Summit Safety Academy is the training division of Summit Safety and Rescue Group. Our flagship program is the Construction Safety Officer (CSO) course, delivered in person in Vancouver over eleven days of instruction. It is designed for workers moving from the tools into a safety role, for supervisors who want formal credentials, and for newcomers to Canada building a career in construction safety.
Graduates leave with the knowledge base expected by employers pursuing BC Construction Safety Alliance certification, and with the confidence to run daily toolbox talks, conduct site inspections, investigate incidents, and maintain a safety management system.
Safety Consulting for BC Employers
Beyond training, Summit Safety and Rescue Group supports employers directly. We provide confined space standby and monitoring, high angle rescue coverage, safety program development, site audits, and on call advisory support for companies that do not have a full time safety department.
